Canstruction® is a national community service project of the design and construction industry to bring public awareness to hunger. Design Professionals in cities across the country, compete to design and build fantastic giant-sized structures made entirely out of canned and packaged foods. At the close of the competition all of the food used in the Canstruction® is donated for distribution to community feeding programs. This year’s Canstruction® competition theme was “Wonders of the World” and our team chose to highlight SPAM as our structure. We were able to donated over 3,700 cans and won the “Best use of processed foods” award.
