Evidence-Based Design (EBD) is the process of basing decisions about the built environment on credible research to achieve the best possible outcomes. The Center for Health Design’s internationally recognized EDAC program awards credentials to individuals who demonstrate a thorough understanding of how to apply an evidence-based process to the design and development of healthcare settings, including measuring and reporting results.

So rare that there are only five holders of this certificate registered in our city. Recently, Mandy Wannen became the fifth EDAC designer in Orlando. We want to recognize her accomplishment and applaud her extra efforts as she continues to work toward the application of new knowledge in the pursuit of excellence.
