Last Fall, our Sarasota County Venice High School campus rebuild project was awarded 1st Place in the High School Architectural Showcase at FEFPA. We want to congratulate Schenkel Shultz on this giant, and beautifully successful project. This phased 4-year renovation/rebuild not only created a functionally cohesive campus (from over 60 assorted buildings) but one with a consistent material language that ties the entire redevelopment together with an air of civic gravity.
Ramski and Company’s participation is most evident in the interior detailing of the new 47,000 sq. ft. performing arts center. This unique collaboration between the Sarasota County School Board and the City of Venice has produced a teaching/performing environment to benefit the entire community. The Tampa Tribune says the center’s slogan is “where arts and education meet.” We think that appropriate for the entire campus
