Olive Garden RevItalia
Altamonte Springs, Florida
Ramski and Company with Walsh Design Associates worked closely with key Olive Garden executives to renovate the Olive Garden at Altamonte Springs. Olive Garden had three specific goals to accomplish on a limited budget and the designers were able to create such an inviting atmosphere and were so successful accomplishing these goals that the Altamonte restaurant became the beginning of a 2 year association with Olive Garden. The restaurant became a Tuscan Village; each dining room had a unique character, but all patrons in every location were to be treated to a festive, warm, inviting atmosphere; a celebration of food, family and friends. The designers affected many aspects of the dining experience, such as focal light sources for every tabletop, textured wallscapes, and many environmental nuances such as development of a new music concept, attention to service details, table service design, and design and development of décor packages with Italian authenticity.
Ramski and Company continued work with Darden Restaurants to develop, document, and implement three prototype designs at three budget levels, incorporating input from focus groups and construction team as the design evolved. Ultimately they supervised installation of 25 restaurants throughout Central Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Denver, Colorado.
