- 45,348 sq. ft.
Though design was completed in 2002, this facility’s construction was suspended after the 2004 hurricanes, and the owners were caught up in construction cost increases due to the shortage of construction materials. Construction was finally completed in 2005.
For residents and staff of this 45,348 sq. ft. independent/assisted living facility it was worth the wait. The comfortable residential scale of the building provides perfect accommodations for residents. They gather in the multipurpose/dining room for meals, prayer services, and bible studies; attend arts and crafts classes, read and entertain visitors in the library/living room; and play cards and watch TV in the sun rooms.
The 24 unit independent living and 29 unit assisted living wings each have their own color, character, and identity which assists with resident way finding.
